Explore strategies for carving out time for creative pursuits with the goal of healthy work-life-play balance. Share, support and learn how to manage creative endeavors while nurturing other aspects of your life.

Practical Skills and Techniques:

Participate in hands-on creative exercises in a seminar style supportive environment. Learn practical techniques to enhance your creative process.

Empowering Your Voice

Develop the confidence to amplify your creative voice. Whether you're an artist, writer, designer, or entrepreneur, this workshop provides practical tools to help cultivate and communicate your ideas effectively and authentically.

We will meet twice a month on Wednesdays on Zoom for 90 minute group sessions beginning January 17, 2025 10:00-11:30am EST.

We keep the groups small with only 8 women to foster a strong community of trust with a shared goal, so we recommend registering sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!

Tyler Deal MFA, MA, NBCC

Tyler is a woman, mother, partner, dog mom, wild creative, community advocate and glass ceiling breaker through the lens of an artist, therapist and educator. The greatest activators of change can be witnessed within the power of group work. Our wild, vulnerable, shy, fearful, emotional casserole selves can be held by more than our own hands.

Tyler is a Jill of all trades. She has an MFA in painting with a minor in ceramics, she has taught in university art departments, general education, first year seminar, K-8 elementary schools, community workshops, corporate retreats, hospitals and in private practice.

Additionally, Tyler has an MA in clinical mental health counseling and a postgraduate degree in Expressive Arts Therapy.

  • Scroll down or up to the “sign up” button to begin registration. Once you have completed the registration and payment sections you will be asked to register with zoom to receive your individual link that will be emailed to you prior to each zoom meeting.

  • When you register you will be asked for a credit card that will be charged $150 automatically at the first of each month. This will occur in Feb, March, April and May. Each 90 minute session is $75 but we will only charge the cards once at the beginning of each month for the full $150.

  • We will be meeting in a private zoom meeting room, you will receive a reminder email each week that group will meet with the link required to attend. You will receive additional emails during the off weeks with session recaps, materials used and looking ahead to topics covered the following week.

  • You will receive a list of all materials that will be covered during our meetings with the introductory email 2 weeks prior to the first group meeting.

  • Life happens and things come up. Meetings will not be recorded as this group is a blend of expressive arts therapy, support group and time each session for individual sharing of highlights and struggles. You will be missed but we will look forward to seeing you at the next meeting. During the week in between the zoom meetings you will receive an email with a recap of topics and materials covered during the previous meeting along with looking ahead to the topics that will be discussed at the next meeting. This workshop is sold as an 6 session package and you will be charged the same $150/month regardless of attendance.

  • During the weeks in between our zoom sessions you will have prompts and mindfulness questions to observe and collect about yourself and your life. You will receive an email with a recap of what was covered the week before and what is on deck to be covered at the next group. No homework is mandatory. This group is first and foremost about showing up authentically in community. Where the work travels for you in the off weeks and beyond this group is completely up to you.
